Surfing: Hang Ten

The ocean is a force of nature that refuses any effort to tame it. To throw one's self on the mercy of this beast is a courageous act. With the help of this trick guide, you can learn to harness that power and push your water-borne adventures to new heights. See how to

perform the stall on a surfboard.

Trick: Stall

Difficulty: Medium

1.The "Stall" is a basic maneuver that every surfer should know.

2.A "stall" is the beginning of learning how to pull out of the wave, or learning how to kick out of the wave.

3.It's done by putting all of your weight on your back foot and lifting the front of the board up (and out of the water) allowing the wave to pass you by.

4.Every surfer must learn how to do this (properly) to control movement and avoid hitting obstacles.
